In 2008 I visited Bali. Intrigued by the incredible renditions of Hindu mythology and other hybrid creatures, I became obsessed with the idea of a chimera, in all manners of speaking: from the incredibly rare DNA phenomenon, to the ancient stories of chimera creatures, to metaphors for modern existential searches for self. I collaged personal photography and stock for calendar imagery and printed a small quantity as gifts.
